This year for our summer vacation we took a week long camping trip. We packed up the new trailer and headed out to the Oregon Coast. We spent 3 days camped at Ft. Steven's (near Astoria) and 3 days at Neskowin (near Lincoln City). We had great weather that allowed us to enjoy the beautiful outdoors.
We saw the wildlife at Neskowin. These little bunnies found their home around the camp!
We saw the sea life at Newport and enjoyed these cute little Sea Lions.
While at Fort Steven's Kevin enjoyed a little fly fishing on the Lake at Fort Steven's. No bites, but a relaxing time.
Nancy loved the view of the ocean. This view is at Boiler look out and we saw a whale off the coastline. He just kept swimming up and down the coast.

What a fun, relaxing vacation. It makes me want to go camping (only if I have a trailer though!!). Our only vacation was visiting my mom, which was a lot of fun but probably not as relaxing. Granted with 2 kids I don't think vacations are relaxing yet. Have you started back to school?
