Reid Family Reunion: March 2013

 

 

 

Receiving instructions about "The Amazing Race

 

The reunion started on Wednesday evening the 27th of March with "The Amazing Race".  We stopped at familiar spots from our childhood and had little tasks to complete.  The first tasks was to eat a whole TCT at Macayos all by ourselves......well, that was the rule, but most teams shared in the eating!  Nancy ate all but 1 piece by herself.  Other places we stopped at were: Gene Ward Elementary School, Tropicana Church, Paradise Park, 7-11 store, & Vo-tech School.  It was a lot of fun

Another one of the tasks was to drink a slurpee or Dr. Pepper from 7-11!!

On day 2 we went to The Grand Prix fun center.  Grandpa Ken & Aaryn had a lot of fun on the flying airplanes.

On day 3 we went to Hoover Dam and got educated about the local history!

 

 

The reunion was over on Saturday evening, everyone had a great time and it was good to see all the siblings, in-laws, grandchildren & great-grandchildren of LaVerne and Richard Reid......we were born of "goodly parents".

After the reunion Kevin, Nancy & Alyna went to Catalina Island, California for a couple of days!

 We took a golf cart drive around the island.....lots of fun.

 On the last day, Grandma Nancy & Alyna took an hour long bike ride along the flat roads on the water front.  We had a blast!

 

Alyna was a great little traveler, and loved posing for all the "photo ops" at the various scenic view points!
