Memorial Day weekend was filled with sun and fun. We started the weekend off with a visit to the cemetery to decorate the grave of Kevin's dad. His mom wasn't feeling well enough to go with us, so we took Alyna to help us clean and decorate the graves with flowers. She found it very interesting, thought we would look in the grave and see great grandpa Jones!
On Saturday Kevin & I headed north to Port Townsend, WA for a night with my book club friends and their husbands. We had a great time cooking, eating, laughing, telling stories, talking about the book we had read and just enjoying the beauty of the northwest. We stayed at Rick & Barbara's place which is right on the Puget Sound, notice the beautiful view of the Olympic mountains.
Last weekend (not memorial day weekend), we took Alyna on a little bike ride. First time we have taken her on a longer bike ride and she did pretty good. Only two crashes in two days!! But, she had the helmet on, so no head injuries.
