Last month, just after Easter weekend, we had a "grandkids sleepover". Four of our Five grandkids slept over (Baby Noah was only 2 weeks old!, so he didn't come..) and we had a great time. We had pizza for dinner, took a fun walk in the neighborhood-taking a tour of a couple of houses that are being built, and did some sleeping. Then on Saturday morning after breakfast we went to Blue Lake Park. They have a great walking trail that includes ponds and marshes. The kids all stopped to call the ducks so we could look for duck eggs!! We didn't find any!!! It was a fun 24 hours of mostly cuteness. We even managed to take all four of them out to lunch by ourselves for the first time!!!
It sounds like the two of you are fun grandparents! It is always good to spend time with them when they are younger, they will always remember it!
