In April we went to Salt Lake City to the LDS General Conference. While we were there we met up with a few of Kevin's Aunts and cousins. We shared a Easter dinner with Aunt Marjorie's family. It was at John & Annette's home in Sandy, Utah. Aunt Beth and cousin Debbie were also there, visiting from Salem, Oregon.
While we were at the Conference, we caught up with Aunt Beth and Debbie. We found another cousin with them! Cousin Gloria lives near Salt Lake City. Kevin hadn't seen her since he was a kid.
Then, on April 23rd I took a trip to San Fransisco, CA to visit two good friends from my days in Peace Corps. I met up with Ellen and Brenda for a girls weekend. We had a blast. We did a lot of talking, walking and eating. Just like old times! The only difference was that in Kenya we cooked and ate, this weekend we went to restaurants and ate! In this picture we are trying on hats....I had a floppy sisal hat when we lived in Kenya.
Brenda & Ellen looked fantastic. We spent time down at the wharf, taking in the views and food.
This picture is a little dark, but here are the three of us together again.... Can't wait to get together in another 5 years. We have been home from Peace Corps for nearly 15 years, wow how time flies.
