Happy New Year!
I'm so far behind in my posts because I can't figure out how to download pictures from my Walgreens photo account where I keep all my photos stored! I guess this will have to be a post without photos....
We have been so very blessed in 2011 and look forward to another wonderful year in 2012. Yesterday we tried to count some of our 2011 blessings and this is what we came up with.
* an addition to our home, that provides more space to enjoy our family
* a new little grandson, Hudson, who is healthy and wonderful
* friends who helped with a solution to our problem with our retaining wall.....and helped lower Kevin's stress level!
* jobs that we enjoy and provide a good income for us
* travel to California with good friends, fun and safe!
* camping over the summer in beautiful areas of our country
* good health
* safety from day to day, even with a minor car fender bender to our unoccupied car!
* our children and grandchildren are all growing strong and improving in their own lives
* our marriage is strong and wonderful -- our love is overflowing
* spiritual growth
* we got to spend time with extended family
* Nancy got to teach at PSU and learned a lot of new skills
* we spent time with friends who mean so much to us
* an abundance of food that is good and healthy
(I'm sure there were more, but that's what comes to mind 24 hours after the discuss with Kevin!)
I have made some goals for the new year and hope I can grow as a woman in the coming year. I want to be better in my kindness to Kevin, a better visiting teacher, and I want to study the scriptures better. Check in with me throughout the year and ask me how I'm doing on these goals. I always do better when I know someone else knows what I'm trying to achieve!
